When you figure it all out, let us know!
We're wrestling with a lot of the same questions.
What we're trying with gifts is doing stockings Christmas morning, gifts to and from extended family whenever we celebrate with them (Dec. 23/26) and then doing family gifts at Epiphany/Theophany on Jan. 6. We will spend the 25th, after church, as a family, visiting others and giving gifts or offering our service.
Who’s the Winner? Battery or Wedding?
To quote Groucho, “Who are you gonna believe…me, or your own two eyes?”
Mrs. Fields' website has a page for Christmas Gifts (35), and another page for their “Holiday” Gift Collection which contains 74 gifts – all of which are Christmas-themed.
Why not list all the Christmas gifts under Christmas Gifts, and gifts for all the other holidays on the Holiday Gift Collection page? Why make your customers wade through politically-correct nonsense to find what they want?

Car didn't completely flunk it's mot, and my parents surprised me with my own personalised number plate for no apparent reason!
It's interesting comparing the systems you have with ours. We are moving to a more 'personalised' system however the money is just not there to fund it appropriately. I suspect a lot of the systems teeter on the edges as a lot of people's unmet needs are not met and therefore can't draw funding away from the more cheaply available care.
I am very cynical because I see these wonderful progressions but with no money behind them, the local authorities will continue to drive out any personalised care with block contracts which are cheaper. If we really do move towards REAL personalised and individual care, the cost implications are massive and noone wants to confront this. It leaves an unhappy medium with care being cheapened and cheapened until the quality suffers considerably.
I am more minded that the different systems that exist, exist to cut costs and meet very broad needs and most critical needs rather than relate to individuals.
Interesting, my mother carefully tallies the cost of any gift given to them and then purchases gifts of the same exact value. Strange but true. I am glad that your parents are grateful for love. Not all are. Some truly just want a lot more than that.

Latest Very Good Offer From Groupon:
In the U.K. personalised number plates are extremely popular, however the Enlish registration numbering system displays the age of your car to the nearest 6 months so many people who have a nice car but which is getting on in years buy a personalised registration number to conceal the age of the car. I agree that the wrong plate on the wrong car looks naff.

I’m curious as to why you take such a personalised tone in this? You keep stating things as if they are my opinion.
I believe the reason we aren't seeing those with the gifts of healing manifested is because many with this gift simply haven't forsaken all to follow Christ. There are many believers walking around with supernatural gifts, but they aren't operating in these gifts simply because they are caught up with “the cares of the world” and disobedience before God. The gifts remain hidden…
Some excellent tips here, I love the idea of recycling something you may have disgarded as rubbish and giving it a new life as something fresh and new!
As it's the festive season, a good way to recycle last year's Christmas cards is to turn them into this year's gift tags!
All that's needed is a pair of pinking shears, a hole punch and some ribbon and you can save resources and money! Plus give your gifts a more personalised look.
Keep up the good work!
I ordered the medium, round, cupcake tower to use at my wedding on June 11th. I was thrilled when I opened the box, it is gorgeous and will be a staple at family functions for years to come. If I won I would pick a second just like it or the sqaure version to give as a gift…my sister will be getting married next fall Thank you Cupcake Tower for making my life soooo much easier!!
So, does your little note mean that you received gifts $$$ for a new computer? I feel like I missed something….:(
